I am building my own pc for Christmas and these are the components...

8gb RAM ddr3
gtx 670
amd fx 8320
bitfenix shadow case
alpine 600w psu
1tb hdd

I need a motherboard will this one work?

Asus M5A78L-M USB3 AMD 760G AM3+ mATX Pc Motherboard.

That motherboard is an excellent choice, just keep in mind with it being micro, you don't get as many expansion options in the future as you would with a full board.

Here's a standard ATX mobo, similar to what you have there: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131872 - it's only a few bucks more, if you want another option.
