Weird temperature readings with Asus Sabertooth Z87

I got a Sabertooth z87 from Asus and I'm using an i4770.
I installed both assistant fans and they are on.
After installation of the Asus Suite I'm getting a lot of temp variation on only one sensor (Vcore (back))
It ranges from -7°C all the way up to 429.000.000 (yes, millions).
Could it be software? Is the mb defective?
Would it affect performance/reliability?

I'm looking for some input as I googled it without much success.

Below-ambient temperatures are impossible without some form of heat-pump involved and millions of degrees are impossible as well since solder would melt at less than 300C and most semiconductors fail at less than 175C.

Probably a software or driver glitch. Make sure everything is up-to-date and try different system monitoring software to see if that makes any difference.
