Hey guys,

I want to make an own Teamspeak 3 server. My friend recently bought a Raspberry Pi, but since it's not possible to run it on their, I want to run it on my own PC. The only problem is, I don't wanna leave my PC running 24/7 just to run a simple Private Teamspeak server.

Now my question is, if my PC idles for lets say 10-20 minutes, that it automatically goes on a sort of Power Saving mode. Like turning off all unneeded stuff, that have no use for the Teamspeak 3 Server. Or just hitting button, so it only runs the required components for the TS3 server. So what I'm trying to say is a sort of Stand By Mode, but still turned on.

I want to do this to save electricity and not pay high bills for a simple Private TS3 server.

You have 2 choices: pay up for a hosted TS3 server, or leave your PC on all the time. Leaving your PC on all the time to host a server is probably a TOS violation of your home internet. Moreover, that IP will not always be the same.
