The fan blades of my GPU have been hit by some cables. help?!?!

So today when I turned on my PC this weird noise started so I opened my PC and it was the cable of the USB header for my case rubbing against the fan blades of the fan for my power color 7850! I just built it so I'm kinda of paranoid, do you think this will affect the performance or the fan? It still works but I'm worried it would of have caused damage. Someone please help me?

It will depend on how long the cable was in contact with the fan. Many times you can get away with it as long as it was only rubbing for a short time. Example: turn on, hear rubbing figure out its PC, pull cover, find issue, turn off. you will be ok. Was there any major damage to the cable? if there was then I would worry.

No it was not in contact for long and i dont the cable was hurt. Will i be fine?
