i7-4770k
2x8 (16Gb) G.Skill Ripjaws
Phanteks PH-TC14PE cooler
2 Asus DCU 2t-3GD5
Samsung EVO 500GB SSD
Gigabyte z87-ud4h mb
windows 8.1 pro retail
3x Dell U2412M in portrait mode

no matter what I do, I get BSOD whenever i touch anything AMD/ASUS related to the GPU.
a. drivers BSOD
b. CCC BSOD

I have tried:
1. unseating and reseating each
2. tested both individually and they work fine
3. fresh install of all drivers
4. removed all monitors and tried setting up with a single monitor
5. tried setting up on single monitor connected to integrated graphics

All I want to do is get the 2x280x's to work in x-fire in eyefinity

right now i have 2 independent cards that i really want to make into paperweights...i have been at this for 2 days....

ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED. I am at wits end with AMD...recently converted, but now really regretting the move.

are there new drivers out? I have tried the AMD_VGADriver_Win7_Win8_Win8_1_VER13_152
and it BSODs me.

I have tried the ASUS disc...BSOD

I have tried the AMD website for the 'beta' drivers....BSOD

has anyone had success in drivers, CCC, x-fire and eyefinity?

Hi - I got a similar issue - I want to run 3 GPU's independently of each other (without crossfire) and I got three r9 280x's, one ASUS, one MSI and one Gigabyte.
Whenever I try to install a 2nd GPU, I get BSOD before window login or immediately after, with error code 3b thrown - driver issue . . .
My GPU's also work independently, but not together . . .

What error code do you get upon BSOD?
Can you provide a dump file?
Do you use driver sweeper to make sure your system is completely cleaned of old drivers, before trying a new set?

Have you tried this:
Different beta drivers (beta 8, 9.2, 9.4, 9.5 or 7 for example - I still didn't try 7 or 9.4 yet).
Memory test (memtest86 + memtestHCI) after disabling pagefile.
Run in safemode without any startup programs (to see if it's perhaps a driver conflict).
Flash your bios to newest version - these GPU's are quite new, so it may be needed.
