My psu doesn't have a 6 pin PCI-E connector? so will this work?

The first link you posted, the molex-to-6-pin connector from Newegg, will do the job. It will provide you with a 6-pin connector for a discrete video card. I'm not sure why you posted the second link from Gateway, the power specs to a PSU. If you're asking will it provide enough power for something, that question cannot be evaluated until we know what it would be powering.
