my computer keeps shutting off and starting up again

when i am using the computer it will gust shut down and start up again.
It got worst, now you cant do anything on it. when i turn it on in two minutes it shut down and start up again

heck to see that the cpu fan is moving and it on tight. if your rig is a few years old the thermal paste may have dried out. if the fan is moving fine and there no dust in the pc try another power supply.

Sounds like the power supply to me as well. You may want to open the case clean it out with air get all the dust and dirt out of the fans the gpu and the cpu and heatsinks after that try again. If you still have the problem remove your cpu heatsink clean old thermal paste off put new on a pea size drop and reattach the heatsink. Then try to run if that don't fix it check your power cable to the back of the pc make sure its snug and if that don't work it may be time for a new power supply.

Is the warm air being thrown out of the fan outlet a lot hotter than it used to be?
