I'm looking to get myself a new keyboard and mouse, specifically some stuff optimized for gaming.
I am looking to spend not much more than 100 in total.

I live in Australia and so I will be purchasing parts from Mwave (www.mwave.com.au).

I am somewhat self conscious of the noise the keyboard and mouse makes, so if it is a 'quiet' mouse and keyboard that would be even better.

- I am right handed
- I do not mind ambidextrous mice
- Palm grip

I have done some research on mechanical keyboards and have decided against it, mostly because of the higher noise levels and increased price. Whilst I understand many people would try to convince me otherwise I have made my choice in that respect.

So far I have picked;
Logitech G105 Gaming Keyboard

Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse – White
http://www.mwave.com.au/product/logitech-g600-mmo-gaming-mouse-white-ab48044

Brings the total to $110

Thanks in advance for any advice offered.

personally i'm a fan of mechanical keyboards over rubber dome since they are much more precise but its your choice.

sound comparison in case you cared. bottom video.

honestly they arent super loud especially with o-rings but rubber dome keyboards are likely quieter by a bit.

the g105 isnt my first choice of keyboard but it should work fine. in the same price range is the sidewinder x4 which is also a very popular choice.

since you are okay with the mouse i think you're all set to go if they have the features you like.

logitech while not the best company on the market makes some solid performing products for a good price so its...
a word of caution with the g600...

it may be too many buttons. i tried one for rpg games and i found it incredibly difficult in trying to hit the correct side buttons.

i ended up returning the mouse and went back to what i was using before (deathadder). for the rpg game i bought it for i ended up using a controller instead.

I have thought about that, but i've had experience with mice like it before and also the way the buttons are curved to help find the correct key.
Besides this, all good with my choice?
