I tried to resize my one of the disk. at that time it asked me reboot as noramlly after reboot data from that disk will be restored. bt i was unaware about this. when i restarted my pc it had started restoring files bt i suddenly stoped the process because i was unaware about what was happengin.. when i restated later i saw that my photos n data from that disk was corrupted. can it be possible to recover those photos n data ??? and another question is s/w which is used for recovery , recovers how much old data i.e. about year/month/week/day ?

No. You are supposed to back up before doing this in general, and if you used some weird software that actually moves and overwrites Data as it goes you are out of luck. You should have read the instructions and the MANY warning screens I'm sure it showed you.
