Hi,

In my new PC rig coming soon, I've had mixed feelings about how I should cool my CPU. I won't be doing any (or, at least, not much) overclocking because of nullifying the warranty void unless you get Intel Tuning. It also has some heat issues, which brings me to my next part.

My processor is the Intel i7 4770K/Non-K Quad-Core CPU. I Think I've heard that there are problems with the heating on this particular CPU, which is why I'm worried.

After doing some research, I've narrowed my cooling to 3 options, all with pros and cons.

Stock Intel cooler:
+Free
+Fully-Functional
+Low profile
-Sucks at cooling

CM Hyper 212 EVO:
+Cheap
+Great performance for its price
-Costs actual money
-High profile

Noctua NDH-14:
+BEST AIR COOLED SOLUTION I COULD POSSIBLY FIND
-Most expensive
-Really high profile

Liquid cooling was excluded due to the difficulty of its installation.

I'm still fearful as getting a CPU cooler would Help in airflow, but costs money :(

Solution
I have the 4770 (Non K version) and i am rendering for 8 hours 100% CPU Usage at 3.9ghz and it was fine.
Now i have buy the Hyper 212 only because the stock is to noisy :)

for little to no overclocking youll be fine with stock. if you want quiet get the cooler master
