I have a GTX 680 at the moment and I am thinking of upgrading GTX 780 Ti or wait until 2014 for a new line of Nvidia graphics cards or maybe get another 680, what is the best choice?

Solution
SLI your gtx 680 could be better from the GTX980 maybe :p
So you dont have to wait for the GTX880 or something.
And no question to upgrade it for GTX780 just buy an another one and kill them all
It's always better to SLI or Crossfire if you can. I have a few reasons why I believe this to be so:

1.) You still leverage the power of the GPU you already own, giving you a much better upgrade for usually much less money.
2.) Your card design will be much more mature and stable than a new one.
3.) You spent all that extra $$$ on the beefy power supply and multi-GPU motherboard. This justifies that.

You will not see any difference in one monitor.
Do you have three monitors or 2560x1440 single monitor ?
Anyway i still believe SLi GTX680 could be better from GTX880 and close enough to the GTX980 in the future.

I play on one 1920x1080 monitor and want to keep it like that. The only reason I need another 680 or 780 Ti is because I want 60 fps on most game from 2013-2014 and hopefully some of 2015 titles at good setttings on 1920X1080
