I share internet connection with few my friends, and we changed our broadband 2 weeks ago, In the begining was everything alright with my wifi connection, security key was accepted, but yesterday it happened first time - when I turned on my laptop {with W8} it didnt't connect me automaticaly, and after didn't accept my security key. This problem persisting until know and other friends they use same connection donthave this problem.I restarted router, updated wifi driver, turn off and turn on wifi connectons. Have somebody any ideas please?

Hi

First does your wireless network connection work on other wireless access points to ensure it is working correctly

If it does work you need to talk to some one who has legal access to the router/wireless/modem

They can check for black list & white list settings to ensure you are not locked out

Then get them to check the wireless password has not changed
(use nirsoft wireless key view)

Then either reset security key back to what you thought it was or is the same as label on router/wireless/modem or tell you what the security key is

If your answer to Mike's question on whether your wireless adapter connects to other networks, just not yours, is yes; and you are using the correct wireless key -- then change your wireless adapter MAC address with THIS free app, I have often used it to fix this sort of issue.

thanks for your advices, I solved the problem, at least for now. When I restarted the router first time, it didn't help to solve my problem, but I did same thing later and it helped.
