I want to ask if cd laser is repairable or not. I have a car stereo. So here it is, it is working when suddenly it stopped reading and saying "error 04". Since i knew some electronics, i opened it and saw that the laser is very eak. I adjusted it at the back but still its not working. The light is very weak whatever i do. If i buy this part will cost me more so im asking if it is repairable.. Thanks.

what do you mean by the laser is very weak. It should be weak, it should be precise, by 'adjusting it' you've probably killed it.

and a dvd is different to a cd player, the light is at different frequencies, we can see one of them we can't see the other.

If you are right and the laser itself is bad you cannot fix it only replace it. It usually takes quite a while for that to happen but it is certainly possible. Contact the maker and see if the error message gives them any info as to the problem.
