is Gtx 780 ti worth the 160$ more than gtx 780? for 3D rendering/modeling on 3Ds Max

As stated above.

and is there a a big difference on performance on 3Ds Max program? if the difference is around 25% and above, I might consider it, but if its only just a minimal improvement, I think spending another 160$ is stupid. I just want to know the difference.

the problem is GTX 780 ti is much cheaper than 7990 in our area, and IDK the reason why.

I also want GTX 780 or ti because will also do a little gaming and im interested on PhysX too. so the only option is both nvidia

the PC I'm using at my office sometimes stutters on viewport when I have a lot of polygon count, and Im using a decent processor Xeon E3-1230 V2 and only a GTX 650 card. So I think it will have a huge performance improvement when I use a High end graphics card on my own personal rig. And I'm planning to buy AMD 8350 btw, since Im on a low budget to buy a 4770k :(.
