Hi!
I purchased the following item yday: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121187089673 My problem is, that it does not detect my Brimax monitor, which just works fine when plugged into my laptop.
I checked the pc and as far as I could tell, no cables were loose, everything was in place.
Also- not sure if it helps- there is no beeping yound when I turn on the pc, and the last time this sound was not present, the techs said that its the motherboard that is faulty.
Thanks, and have a nice weekend,
Paul

What you mean is your monitor does not pick the video signal up from the pc.

In the system you have a board with on board graphics output.
You also have an Nvidia 640 card fitted to the Pci-e slot inside the case.

So try changing the cable from the on board graphics ports of the motherboard to the monitor or the ports of the 640 card.

It will be setup on one or the other.
