How to show the picture's folder paths on my screensaver photos in Windows 8, like I could in Windows XP

When my screensaver comes on with my pictures (and there's a lot) every now and then I see a picture that I's like to review, rotate or send to someone, but I have no idea what it's called or where I stored it. I had my old Windows XP display it in the top left corner of my screen with each picture that popped up. Easy to find the picture that way.

I've gone to Control Panel, All Control Panel Items, Personalization, Screen Saver (Photos), and under Settings there is no option to display the picture path or not, which was an option in XP.

Right. But to show the pictures, they are in one and only one folder. Either the default "Pictures" folder, or whichever folder you designated.

Not in my case. I have put all my folders and sub folders with my pictures in the Windows 8 "Pictures" folder (which is under the heading of "This PC") to which I point the screensaver to go to. It actually shows my pictures from these folders, randomly (as that how I set it up).

OK, yes...it will also read and scroll through subfolders.
