is asus Radeon HD 7750 a good gaming card?

i want to buy a SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7750 for my computer. but it takes 2 slots wich i don't have.
so im going to buy a ASUS Radeon HD 7750 wich takes only 1 slot, but im not sure if the ASUS Radeon HD 7750 is good for gaming since i've heard from some people that ASUS is't that good.

  1. asus cards are awesome. DCUII cooler is very powerful, BUT 7750 is not a good gaming card. ofc depending on the games and resolution you play might be sufficient, its still a low end card. to me 1080p gaming requires atleast a 7770 or 7790
  2. get at least 650ti boost or hd 7850 2gb versions. it can handle most games at 1080p

  4. im going to most likely play minecraft. also saints row and stuff. but at what frame rate will crysis 2 be? 30 for crysis is good for me

  6. with 7750 you will be getting fps around 10.

really if your target is crysis2 at thirty then look higher. atleast dtx660
  7. 7850 and 650 ti boost both take in 2 slots. thats the INTIRE reason i started this topic
  8. i found a geforce gt 560 single slot graphics card. is that an okay card?
  9. it should do. mind showing the card? link :)
  10. 7750 is good enough for 720p gaming

  12. i cant find the gt 560. i think i whas mistaken. but there is this 640 card wich on picture seems to take in 1 slot. but in the specs it sais that it takes 2 slots wich is confusing. anyways, here are the specs:

    palit geforce gt640
    memory: 2g
    memory type: gddr5
    card interface: pci-e 2.0 x16 (i have 1.0 x16 - wil that work?)
    directX: 11.1
    openlGL: 4.3
    shader model: 5
    shader clock: 2,092 Ghz
  13. i wouldnt take a 640 if i were you. its really not designed for gaming. what kind of a setup do you rung to not have 2 slots for a GFX?
  14. I bought an HD7750 from ATI. To be honest it done what I asked it to do for the year I had it. Guildwars 2 on medium settings got a smooth-ish 30FPS, skyrim on med-low settings about 40FPS. But to be honest if you can work it into your budget get a 7790 2GB for under £100. You will be alot better off than getting the 7750 as I wish I had done at the time.

  20. Im in the Uk and i found this:
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/POWERCOLOR-AX7770-1GBD5-DH-Graphics-DisplayPort/dp/B008EWQU0K

It will be better than the 7750, but to really have a better pick of cards duel slot its pretty much the way to go.

Take off your side panel for a better look, the slots should just snap off. What case have you got?

here are the specs: again, not that great for a gaming pc.

prosessor: intel core 2 quad cpu q9550
operating system: Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit
RAM: 2gb(still have to update to 8 but i whas focusing on the graphics card first)
    Graphics card slot: pci-e x16
    memory type: ddr2 pc2-5300 and pc2-6400

thats all the info i whas able to find, hope this helps
  31. ok it should be able to run the games (except having little ram) but, your ram is DDR2 which is old and expensive, so i wouldnt recommend upgrading just the ram, but rather you wait until you have cash to upgrade your CPU and motherboard too, especially since we will soon see DDR4 come into play
