Hey people. just wondering what the best option would be. I am very happy with my GTX 660, but for example, when I mod Skyrim with ENB in open areas on max settings I do get about 40 fps average, and I want higher. I'm happy with my computer as I built it and it is really good;

Asus Sabertooth Z77 Motherbaord
EVGA GTX 660 SC
8GB Kingston HyperX
600W Corsair Gaming Series PSU

But what should I do to get that 60 fps? Should I get another EVGA GTX 660, or something else? Oh also I have abour 100 pound to spend, and with that I could pick up a 660 on ebay for about that much, but if it's better to sell the card, then i would have about 200.

Sli it.
You won't find a card for less than £200 that offers better performance than two 660s
It isn't that old a card so isn't outdated just yet.
Save the extra £100 and then when you have enough invest in a really good 760 or 770. Or maybe an 860 (by then it could exist :p ).

But for now get another 660, ensure it is identical and sli them

That's good then.
Just be wary of the overall case temps, might need a few more fans to deal with the extra hot air being pumped out by another gpu.

SLI is your best option, the card is far from outdated and you'll have to look at the R9 280X/GTX770 as a minimum if you go for a single card upgrade.
Just be VERY sure the second card matches yours-check the core count and memory bus.

i had 660's sli'd about two weeks ago. notice i do not have them now.......
they are fine for many games, but i noticed on a couple new games that use lots of vram started to get a bit of stutter. something i didnt realize about 660's is that the 192 bit bus on the memory, leaves about 500mb with a slower 64bit bus. so you essentially got a 1.5gb card rather than a 2gb card. some games dont even use the last 512mb at all, like crysis 2/3 which seemed to leave out the remaining 512mb. if your running skyrim with mods, check your vram usage, if its over 1.5gb then sell your 660 and get a 3gb 7970/7950.
