Hi
I recently bought a custom gaming computer on craigslist. It worked fine for a little while and then it started completely crashing, giving me a blue screen. I might open firefox, and go to a website or two, and then everything would freeze up and it would restart. I turned off the "automatically restart" function in system settings, but when I get a blue screen, my monitor is set to standby mode, so I'm never able to get a code. The only way I know it was a blue screen is when I restart the computer, It tells me the system has recovered from a serious error and under details is "BlueScreen"
Here are my specs:
AMD FX 6100 60core processor
16 GB Ram (only 12 GB usable, not sure why)
64-bit windows 7 ultimate
ASRock 770i AM3+ Motherboard (No integrated graphics)
EVGA GTX560 SE 1GB graphics card
RaidMax Hybrid 530 Watt CrossFIre Modular Power Supply
1TB WD HDD
Corsair liquid cooler
My fans also seem to be a lot louder than they originally were too, and my CPUs seem to be a bit more active than they should be. There' s nothing unusual under Task Manager as far as I can tell though.
