Alright guys, just wanted to know if the AMD A8 5600K APU is a GOOD or BAD buy? Can it run current gen games on medium - High settings on a 1280 x 768 Monitor? Games i'm looking to play are: Minecraft, Planetside 2, TF2, WoW and many other current gen games. REMEMBER the resoultion is 1280 x 768.

I bet it can at that resolution, bust mostly medium at playable fps. High is just too much I bet. I have the A10 5800k, and I play at 1080p with low settings. At Dota2, high settings 30fps. So I guess at 720p settings, the 5600k is already fine at medium settings.

It will run those games on medium on that reso. just make sure to use 1866 ram on dual channel for maximum performance. but the Athlon x4 750k would be adviseable if you plan on adding a discrete graphics though.
