I finally managed to have a wired internet for gaming purposes. Everything works fine but what concerns me is why the motherboard ethernet port is lit up Red (PC end). The router I'm using is a old Linksys WRT54GT Wireless-G broadband router being connected to my PC by a Cat5e ethernet cable, the motherboard I'm using is a Asus M5A97 R2.0 motherboard
