The Battlefield 4 mantle update is supposed to be released in December. I'm not sure how much performance someone like you will get from it though. You already have a powerful system and I think it's supposed to help systems with weaker CPU's more than anything. Which is very clever of AMD as their CPU's have a lower IPC than intels and it should make this not matter so much.Your i5 3570k is a quick CPU and shouldn't really have problems with any game.
What's your performance with Battlefield 4 multiplayer like?
I'm also exited for mantle. I'll be getting my AMD 280x in 2 weeks:)
Those are for single player. The problem most people have is that they play single player just fine and then switch to multiplayer and have performance problems. This is because the multiplayer is a lot more cpu dependent than the single player.
There are no benchmark results as far as I am aware of for multiplayer as getting consistent results is difficult because there is too much variation.
maybe when the mantle update is released it will help with the problem due to the cpu not having to do as much work:)
any idea when the mantle is coming out? is it gonna be in the form of like a driver we can download for our GPU...i have a 7970 ghz and kinda excited for it
