My acer is getting a bit out dated but i really like it so i want to upgrade it and not buy a new one and was thinking i would upgrade the CPU the RAM and the hard drive. The CPU i want is a (Intel Core 2 Duo T9900 3.06GHz PGA478 6M Cache 1066 FSB Processor PM45 Chipset) the laptop is socket P and so is this does this mean its compatible also what can i get for my ram and hard drive, i have looked around and most websites say that you can get 4gb ram highest and 1tb hard drive.
Is this CPU compatible with my Acer Aspire 7315

+1 to gokul36....you cannot change laptop processors and gpu as these are embedded into the motherboard itself
