My HP Pavilion DV4 Laptop started showing that I do not have WiFi network driver in my Laptop anymore.I tried re-installing it by my self. But as I couldn't I had the support of a tech guy and he formatted my C drive and re-installed Windows 7.But now when I try to play a movie it gives some crackling sounds and sort of get stuck and in about 5-10 minuets Laptop get shutdown with a Blue screen error saying "Check to make sure any new hardware or software properly installed".

Please I really appreciate if someone can help me out to figure this problem.

Thanks!

Regards - Sam

So you have two issues: (1) the wireless does not work and (2) you get a BSOD when playing a video disk?

I would boot from the installer disk and do a startup repair. Also insure that your wireless radio is turned on. It can be a switch or key combination (see your manual) but FN F2 works on many models. Then check to see if the wireless adapter shows up at all in the device manager control panel.
