Hi, I am beginner with Digital camera. I'm going to buy a camera for the first time in my life. I'm use it indoor for the most of the time, but also outdoor when I'm on vacation. Anyone had tried both or knows which one is better for me for the price? Thanks.

On that site there is only a $1 difference between the two. Personally I would go with the Canon since it offers more recording options and it has microphone and headphone jacks. I have used both Canon and Sony camcorders and have been pleased with both but between the two you listed I think the Canon is the better choice.
