AMD FX-6100 autotuned to 6.6 ghz??

I just ran the autotune tool in the AMD Vision Control Center, and it clocked the CPU at 6.6ghz. I am running the stock cooler, and that shouldn't be possible. ever.

Go back to your stock clock, DO NOT overclock on your stop cooler, you can damage your chip.
  2. For funsies, tell us your CPU Core temperature, and voltages.

I cannot remember the voltages. but according to AMD vision, at 6.6ghz the processor was at 66c,with a stock cooler
  4. That isn't horribly terrible. That's only 5C over the "safe" limit.

Invest in an aftermarket cooler; see what you can do!

Yeah that would be pretty cool, right now im running it in the nzxt phantom full tower, with a crap ton of fans, and thats probably what kept the processor alive. the stock cooler doesnt even have a speck of copper in it, so if I get something like a coolermaster hyper 212 evo, I should be able to get it to nice clock/temp ratio
