Battery Backup (UPS) to get

I currently have a 550VA and a new PC (the ups is older) and I only have the PC connected to the battery/surge port it will beeeeeeeeeeeep during certain events, like when Im playing a game..etc

So how do I determine which to get? my PSU is a 750, that means I should get a back up = to that? or great?

You need a UPS that outputs as much power as your PSU pulls. You can ignore the VA rating on a UPS. You need to pay attention to the wattage rating. 550VA is somewhere between 250watts and 350watts depending on the design. You should be looking for at minimum 600watts.....at most, 975watts. Since we don't know your exact configuration, or exact PSU model...that's the closest estimate that can be made.

most of the ones I'm looking at online are like 825Va but they don't give a watt.


I found some on newegg that shows the wattage, thank you
