Well you did ask for the best, not the cheapest, not the best value, but the best, so I'd say the hp zr2740w (version 2). It's an IPS monitor with low latency, and a 2560x1440 resolution. I have version 1 which has too much anti-glare coating, but I hear they've softened it up a bit for version 2.
