What GPU for gaming @ 720p ?

Which graphics card would give me a solid 60fps in ALL games at 720p?

I want to play all new and old games on ultra settings full of eye candy and stuff, on at least 60fps, the resolution will be 720p

I thought about getting the new R9 270x or even an HD 7950, is that too much?

I am also will be using:
i5-3470, 4GB ram (will upgrade to 8GB in the future), and the power supply depends on the GPU I choose of course..

In general, the 270x is good enough. But there will always be games that run like shit no matter how powerful your card is. Like CoD Ghosts and AC: Black Flag.

Is there a big difference between the 270x and 7870 OC? Because the 7870OC is a bit cheaper and it comes with 2 games. But people say the 270x is more future proof.. So which one worths it?
