RAM and Mobo Decisions

Hey guys,

I'm planning on getting a new PC and I've managed to work at all the details but two: the amount of RAM and the Mobo.

- With RAM, I have the choice between 2 x 4gb Kingston Hyper-X Genesis or 2 x 8gb Kingston Hyper-X Genesis (for an extra £70) both DDR3.

- For the Mobo, it's either an Asus M5A97, and Asus M5A99X Evo (for an extra £40) or an Asus Sabertooth 990FX (for an extra £80). All three are compatible with the other parts I'm looking at.

Now the price isn't so much an issue, I'm just putting it out there because cost will always make a decision easier. But in my mind, if I'm going to be spending around £1,100 on a new computer, I might as well spend an extra £150 to cover myself for later.

I probably won't be over-clocking the system (though it's an option) but I do play a hell of a lot of games. I also use Photoshop for some rather large images and do a fair bit of video editting, which is why I was even considering the 16gb RAM option. I also run triple screens, which means I can multi-task whilst I'm working.

What do you guys think? I'm not much more than an average PC builder, so I really don't know what difference the Mobo will make and I can't tell whether the RAM would be overdoing it (I'm having to use 4gb at the moment and it's really frustrating to multi-task whilst I'm working on images).

Solution
Sabertooth have 5 years warranty more PCIE slots. If you don't care about that buy Asus M5A99X Evo.For video editing you need more RAM buy 2x8gb.
