Upgraded my 8GB ram but everytime i play a game it crashes after like 5min i took out the old memory card too
Mother board: 970A-G43
CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600

wait after i updated my bios it stopped crashing could this be a solution i could have done??

i heard that if you update your it changes your timing too because i never changed my timing

how do i check if my timing is correct

Easiest to check in CPU-Z (free downloadable utility), run it and look in the Memory tab, will tell you the freq you're running at (and remember this is DDR (DOUBLE data rate) so true freq shown (here we want 800) is taken times 2 to get effective so 800x2=1600 effective, if it shows 667 ( = 1333) or 533 (= 1066)
