Both are failures in my opinion. I am a big football fan and have been playing football games since euro 96. PES went with new engine this year (they come up with one every 3 years) and it's terrible. Players' faces are horrible and funny at the same time, some don't make sense at all. Since I am a big PES fan, I consider FIFA to be rubbish. However, recently they've improved a lot and because they have legit team names, emblems, transfers, faces etc. I guess you should get FIFA.
