What is you budget? I think the only thing you need to update are the motherboard, cpu and GPU. If you want another i7 then the 4770k is a good option though it will set you back about 300 dollars. If you want a little less performance an i5 4670k or 3570k will both be great. If you have a tight budget then I recommend an AMD fx 8350 or 8320. I run an 8320 in my system having switched from an i5 and it is great. Obviously the motherboard is determined by what cpu you get. For a GPU a good 200 dollar option is the 7870. If you can spend a little more the Gtz 760 is a good card. A great 300 dollar card is the r9 280x. Just giving you some options at various price points because you never stated you budget.
