Hello everyone...

Today i ran crystal disk info and was shocked on seeing caution ...i never felt any problems in my seagate 320 gb harddrive till date but it has a reallocated sectors count as follows

current 44
worst 44
threshold 36

and the power on hours of the drive is 9837 hours so what happens now....what should i do to restore my drive health back to normal...

i also made a error check on HD tune and found no errors..http://i.imgur.com/dmtjoxL.png?1

could somebody please help me with this situation....is there a way to minimize the sector count...

Backup all of your data ASAP and buy a new drive, there is no restoring health to a drive with SMART warnings. It will fail at some random point.

If you really want to use this and see how bad things actually are, after you backup your data do a chkdsk /r and then watch the reallocated sector count.

Look at it as an opportunity to upgrade, get a 250GB SSD on a nice sale over the upcoming holidays.
