I need to reinstall Windows 7 on an Asus notebook, but my license key is illegible. Is my only alternative to buy a new license?

I would give Belarc Advisor a shot, although it doesn't work on some types of stuff it is great to get information on all of your hardware, software, and serials if you didn't record them back when installed (like you know you should have). Go HERE for the free program.
