my local pc repair guy cannot find why my keyboard won't type. i was having windows xp re-installed, and he says it would not re-install on the first 2 tries. the 3rd try re-installed xp, he has done all windows updates, and yet no working keyboard. i've tried 2 different wired keyboards and currently have a wireless combo. the mouse works fine. i purchased drivermax pro, updated every listed update and still no keyboard. my pc repair guy has lastly said that my motherboard may be shot. not great news... everything else on the pc works fine. i'm only able type with the on-screen keyboard. please help...
