Need 3rd-party i3 equivalent fan

The Intel stock fan on an i3-530 processor I purchased new in 2010 occasionally needs a nudge when I power cycle the box in order to get it spinning. I want to replace just the fan but not mess with the heat sink and thermal compound. Can I replace it with a 3rd party CPU fan? Is there any standardization on how fans physically mount that will allow this? Or will I need to find a genuine Intel replacement fan?

I’m only replacing the fan because the current one occasionally needs that nudge. Otherwise the original fan keeps the server CPU plenty cool, so I don’t need anything more high performance. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance.

Just thought I’d post a follow-up to my query. I ended up ordering a replacement Intel stock heat sink and fan. It came packaged well and in an opened Intel i5 box. In trying to answering my question, looking at photos of other coolers, I highly doubt any other fan would snap onto the Intel heat sink exactly like the stock fan.

Although the fan simply snap over the heat sink in opposite corners, it turns out it would be more-or-less impossible to change just the fan without dislodging the heat sink from the CPU and thermal compound.

Replacing the heat sink and thermal compound along with the fan wasn’t an issue for me, but had I known I couldn’t replace just the fan, I might have tried a 3rd party solution in hopes that I would get a fan with better longevity. I tend to have more issues with fans failing than most other components.
