Hello, I have a Bush 32" HD LED TV (BLED32HDRAE), and a Samsung RF711 laptop. I can connect to the screen via VGA cable on the PC input flawlessly and have been doing for some time. But here's the deal, I recently got hold of a HDMI cable for obvious reasons, and for the life of my I can't get my laptop to display on this TV with the HDMI cable.

Now, I know it's not my laptop, as it works perfectly with the Samsung 50" we have downstairs, and my friends 32" ALBA TV (Both using HDMI). Unsurprisingly, so does my Mothers laptop. Yet hers won't connect to my 32" Bush TV using HDMI either. (Also ruling out a dodgy HDMI cable, as this is the one I used on both occasions.)

It would be wise to say it's my TV's fault, but that works fine with HDMI on my PS3! I really am stuck now, why would it work with the PS3 but not my or my Mothers laptop? It doesn't do jack #%!$ when I plug the cable in either, where as on the Samsung it is instantly recognised and the screens automatically calibrate. As is with the PS3.

I am usually good with this kind of thing and I never usually ask for assistance, and I have tried alot of solutions already to no avail. The only thing I can think of is it just being a cheap tacky TV. Please help me! :bounce:

Okay, well for future reference:
I have selected the correct source.
It is plugged into the wall, with the switch in the ON position. (Tested with desk lamp)...

I have done everything as I should, it just isn't working man
