Hey, I'm currently building a gaming pc, and I just bought a XFX PRO550w PSU after getting it recommended. I'm a little worried now after seeing that my GPU takes 500w (on the box). Will this be able to power my whole system?

AMD FX 6300 Vishera STOCK SETTINGS
HIS IceQ Radeon HD 7870 STOCK
8GB G-SKILL Ripjaws X DDR3 1866
ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0
XFX PRO550 550w PSU
NZXT Phantom 410
ASUS 16x DVD Drive
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM Bare Drive
Windows 8.1

It is plenty. 550w is more than enough for any single GPU system.

Your system will use ~370w under absolute peak load (read: it will never use that much power in real life)
