What is better for gaming in the RAM?

I know its getting old, i read at least 100 topics on RAM freq/timings... I understand that overall the memory intensive apps and APUs are benefiting from it, but still my questions is:

For GAMING: How much FPSs(even if its like 0.2 or 1 fps) an AMD fx pc will benefit going from CAS10 to CAS9 (lets say both at pc12800)?
or its just for loadings?

Barely noticable. You can always overclock the RAM . Lets say for example you have a 8 gb of ram 1333mhz with 9-9-9-24 timings. You can overclock it to 1600mhz and try 8-9-9-26 timings. You will only benefit from this during benchmarking , but who knows , the higher the frequency , always the better :)

In a benchmark with the sensitivity cranked up you would notice maybe a 1 FPS difference. Usually in gaming the GPU ram is used first. If your also using the top spec parts on the market atm, the graphic card will most likely be the FPS cap. Hard Drive and Ram will affect load time more than FPS
