I am looking for a gpu for my first Pc build. Is it worth to pay more for a 3 or 4 Gb to be more future proof or is 2 Gb good for many years to come

Solution
yes those are good cards any of them will be great but the r9 280x is just a rebranded 7970ghz editon so just so you know if you see any of those for cheaper its the same card

if you plan to upgrade your monitor beyond hd to one of the ultra hd monitors then yes otherwise not so much, and only for high end cards buying a low end card with 4 gigs is pointless it wont be strong enough for ultra hd anyways

Just two more quick questions... are there games that use more than 2 Gb of memory buffer in 1080p? And woudl you recommend the 770 2gb over the 760 4gb?

yes definetly the gtx 770 would be better and no i personaly have seen games come close to something like 1,5- 1,7 gigs on 1080p it uses more memory if you put on the max aa but still never have i seen 2 gigs being exceeded
