I want to install and run my sims 3 games directly off my external hard drive. I am a HUGE sims 3 player and my 1.5 TB hard drive is a million times bigger than my laptop. it would give me more room to download the expansion packs, custom content etc with out slowing my computer down, but i am not sure how to do this. I do not want any of it to save to my laptop, only my external. I am running Windows 7 on an Acer Aspire. I have a 4GB DDR3 Memory and a 500GB HDD with an nvidia geforce gt 630M w/ 1GB dedicated vram...
