I have a standard Optimum Cable modem. This is wired directly to my 4 port wireless router. I have (4) 2Mega pixel security cameras each wired directly to a Netgear 8 port Gigabit Switch. The Gigabit switch is then wired to my wireless router. Additionally, my router is then wired to the video network recorder. Does this make sense to anyone?

I think that I have the layout pictured, did you assign static addresses to the cameras in the router static table or are you using DHCP?
Are all devices using addresses on the same network with the wireless router as their gateway address?
Can you ping the devices from a computer on the network?
