Router stops working

Hi,I have some headaches with my router.The model is TP-Link WR542G and i've used it for some time.I've done a factory reset and config the IP,Subnet mask etc(Static IP).The problem is that after i config it there is internet for about 5 min and then my computer just stops loading pages.I don't knoww what to do :(
Someone help!

Im not familiar with that unit.. but why you had to "config the IP,Subnet mask etc(Static IP)"?
I would expect the basic "out the box" config to work...so have you tried that? If you fiddled.. we cant be sure you didn't break some config and cause your issues...
So start simple.. factory config if at all poss.. and then.. once working.. only then start to fiddle.
