I've heard testimonials from both sides of the table, but what do you guys think? Should I go with the Intel/Nvidia build:

Or the cheaper AMD build:

I will be using this to play new games (like bf4 and AC4) on a single 1080p display. This is only for gaming, no editing or anything like that. Also, my budget is around 1000 dollars, Including monitor and keyboard/mouse (I have the OS).
So, what do you guys think?

The 8320 is up there with the 8350 and i5-4670k/3570k, granted not as good, but it's not on the bottom of the list, either.

The Intel you build has a GTX 760, whereas the 280x is about the equivalent of a GTX 770, or if OC'd, to a stock 780, I believe.

What parts would you recommend for an AMD rig?

Ok, I lied, it's a little higher than 1k, but I swapped out for a few higher quality parts. You could easily drop it down to under 1k if you really want to stay under 1k.

Alright, thanks! One last question: If I were to overclock the 8320, would it be comparable to the fx 8350?
