I built my first rig last week with a Radeon 7770 GPU. I noticed that the computer crashed in all my games. I decided to underclock the GPU and found out that the factory OC wasn't stable. Should I return it or was the factory OC made to be unstable?

Solution
Unless your temps are pushing 100C due to a poorly ventilated system, absolutely return it. Any decent brand 7770 should be very solid even at their OCs.

Of course you could overvolt it, potentially making the OC stable, but this will void your warranty and you'll be unable to return it.

For some reason Furmark and OpenGL games will not crash my system with factory OC. Can anyone explain? My max GPU temp with furmark was 75c. I guess I'll return it.
