I'm trying to get rid of my Dual Boot of W7 & W7 . I had Windows 7 and Ubuntu Dual Boot but after I got rid of Ubuntu I reinstalled Windows and now I have two Windows 7 Dual booting on one of the two partitions of my HDD. On average I only have 5 - 10 GB of space on the partition containing my OS's. I would like to get rid of only one so I can free up space. Also currently when I try to use my computer especially when I first boot up and arrive at my desktop in order to access anything such as the browser my mouse freezes and then after about 10 seconds it unfreezes and usually happens quite often.

Solution
Hi
For the dual boot :
- Run > msconfig > Boot tab
- delete the one you want to get rid off
- Ok > Reboot
Done

For the free space - you can Boot any Life CD - Hirens Boot CD > Windows PE and just delete what ever you can`t delete under WIndows ( some windows files from older Windows folders are undeletable under Window )
If you need to clean you OS from garbage i use DiskMax : http://www.koshyjohn.com/software/diskmax/
- verry verry good cleanup tool

for the mouse freeze :
- i can think of 20 posible cause ......
- did you farmated some partitions under this Unbuntu to any other than NTFS format ?
- it might be and boot up slow down couse of messing with other partitions if you have used EXT4 or some linux type one ....
i`m guessing...
