Will my CPU bottleneck 7870?

My CPU is: Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40 GHZ

Will the 7870 be too much for my CPU?

Edit: I'm not a huge gamer, I just play DOTA 2 and sometimes new single player games that come out like Tomb Raider, Batman etc.

nah no bottleneck there but anything higher you may see one.

Why not oc the q6600, it's a beast when it comes to overclocking, and you'll be more likely to not have any bottleneck issues

I tried to OC it before but I've got pretty bad cooling issues on computer, kept BSODing me.

No problem. It works out anyway cuz I wanna upgrade PC a year or so later so I need just something cheap to get by on.
