100% Disk use all the time!?

Ok so my disk in the task manager is always 100% Why is that, it is al because of something like service host 14 and all these other service host. Why is this happening.

My new laptop had a bad stock hdd and it stayed at 100% of use all the time it was a
hgst 750gb 5400rpm 8mb of cache.

I replaced it with a Seagate SSHD 1TB 5900rpm 64mb cache.
Im soon going to replace it with a WD Dual Drive 128GB SSD + 1TB HDD with 8GB Caching on the ssd

Windows 8 is a lot lighter then Windows 7.
The same as windows 7 but with apps.

The stock drive with windows 8 took 3 min to boot up the SSHD takes 12-16Secs
When my laptop had windows 7with the stock hdd it took 15 min to boot up and to launch a program.
SSHD on windows 7 took 1min 38 secs to boot up

The svchost.exe process is for the services that are loaded in the background. Do not close them unless you are ok with potentially causing reboots. If your disk activity is sitting at 100%, sort the process list by disk activity and see what is causing it.

Windows update in windows 8 likes to hog a lot of disk activity in my experience (or really just when i'm installing stuff to the hard drive). Try turning off auto-updating and see if that changes anything. More specifics on what hardware you have might also be helpful
