Hi I'm new to the forum and new to PC building I was planning on building this http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/27R5O
The question i have is I plan on ordering new monitors a little later along with video card, but I wanted to confirm that I should be able to run my 2 year old monitor on the asrock z87 without graphic card. I come from a dual core macbookpro with fcp but plan on moving into premier. Im not doing any heaving graffics just simple video editing with minmal color correction, would this set up work as is or definatly need a video card, very noobe to pc world
Thanks for the feedback and also if you have any recommendations in regards to setup please let me know. Thanks again. PS: i dont game at all just want to have something that will shave in rendering time.

Solution
If you're editing, get a good Geforce GTX card, preferably a GTX 770. Believe me, the CUDA cores in that card will shave the rendering time nicely. Just don't get a small one, or bottlenecks for editing will appear.

Thanks for the card advice for editing, i was hoping i could hold back on card for a couple months (saving). Being very noob im wondering if intel 4770k with azrock z87 with "intel integrated graphics" will provide a usable platform in the meantime, or even a picture at all?

If you're editing images, photos, animations etc, you do need a mid - High end GPU for the smoothest experience.
